Looking for Kennel Staff

Responsibilities: 

Cleaning kennels ( mopping and sweeping floors )  
Cleaning pens  
Walking and supervising dogs  

Qualifications: 

Must have an insured and reliable car   
Must be able to handle multiple dogs 
Must provide a background check
Vet assistant or any type of prior experience with dogs and other animals is a benefit 

Must have strong customer service and communication skills. You will be dealing with people on a regular basis. 

Strong ability to work with little to no supervision. 

Some other things that we are looking for in a good candidate

Calm  
Any animal lover knows that with animals things don’t always go according to plan.  But to work with Terrific Pet Cottage, we require you to remain patient and calm if an issue arises or a pet is unsure of you . 

Sensitive 
A good candidate will understand that we require someone who is caring and understanding of the pets needs, and will respond to them.  

Trustworthy 
It's very important that we can trust you. This is why we will run or ask for a background check. If you do not have a background check or do not pass the background check you will not be considered 

Experienced 
We deal with pets who have either psychical issues or behavioral issues. We require that you have some experience with pets ( EXCLUDING owning )   

Consistent 
We require that all candidates agree to follow the rules that the clients give us. Anywhere, from please feed, to correct pet for X behavior.  

Reliable 
We need candidates who can be on time and able to put out clients worries at ease.
